Should designers take responsibility for the ethics of their clients?

*Should designers do work for companies who put on an eco friendly front but behind the scenes they're producing goods in a negative way.
*As a designer you're helping to promote them so you're not forcing them to create products in those environments but you're encouraging sales. Similar to the consumer. So they're buying the products and funding the company but they aren't directly being unethical.
*A lot of bloggers and YouTubers are now stopping talking about certain clothing brands due to this. So if they're turning down work then maybe designers should too.
*Do the work you get at the moment but as you get larger maybe try and choose the more ethical companies.
*Some designers so work for non-profits in their own time.
